Step 1: Set Up Python Environment

Install python-docx:

pip install python-docx

Step 2: Configure Document for RTL Hebrew

Set default document direction to RTL with Hebrew fonts (David, Heebo). Use the w:bidi XML element on paragraphs and w:rFonts with w:cs for complex script fonts.

Step 3: Israeli Document Formatting

• Page setup: A4 (21x29.7cm), 2.5cm margins
• Dates: DD/MM/YYYY or Hebrew month names
• Addresses: street + number, city, mikud (7-digit postal code)
• Phone: 05X-XXX-XXXX format

Step 4: Common Templates

Formal letter: Date, recipient (lekavod), subject (haniddon), greeting (shalom rav), body, closing (bekavod rav), signature.

Contract: Title (centered), parties section, numbered clauses, signature blocks.

Step 5: RTL Tables

Add w:bidiVisual to table properties. Reverse column order in data arrays for correct RTL display.

Step 6: Government Form Conventions

• Teudat Zehut: 9-digit format
• Standard declaration text
• Signature and date blocks

Example 1: Create a Hebrew Contract Template

User says: "Create a Word document for a rental contract in Hebrew" Actions:

1. Set up RTL document with Heebo/David font
2. Create title, party details, and clause sections
3. Add proper Hebrew date format and NIS currency
4. Generate .docx with correct RTL paragraph alignment Result: Professional Hebrew rental contract ready for editing

Example 2: Generate Meeting Minutes in Hebrew

User says: "Write meeting minutes from today's board meeting in Hebrew Word format" Actions:

1. Create RTL Word document with company header
2. Add attendee list, agenda items, decisions
3. Format dates as DD/MM/YYYY, times as HH:MM
4. Include action items table with assignees Result: Formatted Hebrew meeting minutes document

Error: "Hebrew text appears left-to-right"

Cause: Document paragraph direction not set to RTL Solution: Ensure every paragraph has alignment=WD_ALIGN_PARAGRAPH.RIGHT and the run has font.complex_script set to True with an appropriate Hebrew font.

Error: "Mixed Hebrew/English text ordering is wrong"

Cause: BiDi algorithm not handling mixed-direction text correctly Solution: Wrap English segments in LTR marks (U+200E). For code snippets embedded in Hebrew text, use a monospace font with explicit LTR direction.
