The Problem

Israeli reserve duty involves at least three separate agencies (Bituach Leumi, IDF Aka, Tax Authority), each with its own payment tracks and grants. Most reservists miss benefits they are entitled to, file service injuries with the wrong agency, or misapply Amendment 283 tax credit tiers. This skill consolidates all tracks: BL payments, Aka grants, MoD disability path, Manak Nezek Akif for self-employed, Bank Israel relief, and employment rights.

When to Apply

  • When you have been called up and need to understand the full entitlement set (compensation, grants, taxes, leave)
  • When managing a Bituach Leumi compensation process: salary reimbursement, Tagmul Nosaf, or Tagmul Meyuchad
  • When a self-employed reservist needs to check Manak Nezek Akif eligibility or file Form 510
  • When you sustained a service-connected injury (physical or PTSD) and need to know which agency to file with (Misrad HaBitachon, not Bituach Leumi)
  • When an employer needs to understand obligations, the 20% refund, and the tiered dismissal ban
  • When a combat reservist calculates Amendment 283 credit and needs to confirm they have ishur lochem in addition to ishur sherut
  • When asking what changed in 2026 (Amendment 253, the 6.2B Aka grant package, the permanent 20% employer compensation)

Try These Prompts

Miluim entitlements

I got a Tzav 8 for 30 days of combat duty. I am an employee earning NIS 18,000/month, with two children. Help me map all entitlements: BL payments, Aka grants, taxes, and spouse benefits.

Amendment 283 credit

I served 75 combat days this year. Help me calculate Amendment 283 tax credit and identify the documents I need from miluim.idf.il to file with the Tax Authority.

Self-employed grant

I am an osek patur and served 25 days in November 2025. Walk me through filing Manak Nezek Akif at gov.il: window, documents, and amount.

PTSD from service

A combat reservist back from miluim has flashbacks and panic attacks. Explain the difference between the Aka 8944 treatment path and formal Misrad HaBitachon disability recognition, and the steps in each.

Employer 2026 duties

I am a private employer with an employee on miluim. Give me a checklist: salary, pension, 20% refund, dismissal protection, and spouse rights.

Verify a public claim against official Israeli data and get a sourced verdict. Use it when you hear a politician quote a number on the radio, get a viral WhatsApp message about prices or the budget, or read a headline you are not sure about. The skill breaks the claim into its checkable parts, sends each to the right official source (the Central Bureau of Statistics, Bank of Israel, the state budget, the Knesset, data.gov.il), pulls the real figure, and labels the claim true, inaccurate, misleading, false, or insufficient-data with a pointer to the source. It never invents a number, so a cannot-verify answer is honest rather than a confident guess. Do NOT use it for opinions, predictions about the future, private personal facts, or for writing articles from scratch.
